It’s forward-facing, it’s goal-driven, and it’s designed to move you from where you are to where God is calling you to go.
It's relational. It's intentional. And it goes somewhere - because you were made to go somewhere. You'll be challenged. You'll be held accountable. There's homework. There's Scripture. There are practical steps. But underneath all of it is a single, orienting question: what does it look like for you to image Christ - in your home, in your work, in how you carry yourself as a man? That's not a coaching metric. That's a calling.
ABOUT
My name is Kai Cohan, I was saved by Jesus Christ from a long life of hedonism and paganism. I did not grow up in a church, I grew up in the world and spent my career chasing shadows in the entertainment industry. Since coming to Christ I have experienced a complete change in my heart, mind and spirit while going through extreme trials and circumstances. I hold a Bachelor in Literature (Leeds University), a Masters in Theology (OBC), certified Pastoral Life Coach and Biblical Counsellor (CCEF).
"The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost. But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life." 1 Timothy 1:15-16
It is in redemption that Christ uses me for His glory, for I understand a life sinning against God, the snares laid by the enemy, and the strength it takes to beg for mercy before the King. I believe in the power of intentional, one-on-one mentorship and discipleship. For iron to sharpen iron it must be swung with true intention, real battle, real determination. We must hold a posture like Jacob and say to the Father "I will not let you go unless you bless me." (Gen 32:26)
Men need honest brothers, not catch phrases. Sons for Glory exists to push men to be accountable in their callings, to lead and to challenge the enemy's claims against them. The world is out to rob us of our inheritance, so let us "be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong." (1 Cor 16:13)

This is not a self-improvement program with a Bible verse on the cover. To grow as Christian men, we start where we have to start - Jesus Christ. Your identity in Him is the wellspring of everything. Mentoring at Sons for Glory is anchored there, because formation that doesn't begin with Christ isn't formation - it's renovation. As the Apostle Paul put it plainly, "No one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ" (1 Corinthians 3:11). When a man's foundation holds, the rest of his life - his relationships, his leadership, his work - can be built strong and true.

Because this isn't just about you. Sons For Glory carries a bigger vision than any one man. We are raising up men who will turn around and bring others with them. Leaders who form leaders. Disciples who make disciples. As Paul charged Timothy, "What you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also" (2 Timothy 2:2).
Mentoring is the vehicle. Imago Dei is the destination. We are shaping husbands, fathers, pastors, business owners, and young men - men who are determined to reflect the image of God in how they live, how they serve, how they love, and how they lead.

The world doesn’t want men like this. It wants you tame. It wants you silent. It wants you hidden. God wants you seen. God wants you bold. God wants you ready. Ready to step forward in strength, humility, and truth. Ready to lead your family, your church, your workplace, your circle of influence with wisdom and conviction. Ready to live a life that brings glory to God, not comfort to yourself. As it says in Joshua 1:9, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Mentoring is a committed brotherhood built for growth. One-on-one mentoring provides a disciplined, honest space where men are encouraged, challenged, and strengthened through accountability, Scripture, and purposeful action - walking together toward the image of Christ.

Workshops
Sword from Stone is a workshop series that brings biblical mentoring into a
large-group setting.
Through guided reflection, Scripture, prayer, and intentional discussion, men are given space to hear from God, respond in faith, and take decisive steps forward.
